Blogging is one of the first things to go when I get busy, hence the silence over the last couple of months during what was a busy but fun filled wedding season. So now I’m catching up and sharing some of these sweet southern weddings now that the season is coming to a close.
Emily and Jay tied the knot back in May at the Furman Chapel and I can honestly say that these two have the sweetest friends and family. Their wedding party was one of the most enjoyable we’ve gotten to work with and it was the perfect start to our summer wedding season. Caitlin told the story of the day so well through videography too. I love getting to work together to capture the day so fully!
Emily wore a flowy Maggie Sottero dress and her bridesmaids donned Lapis Blue Jenny Yoo dresses. She also wore her mother’s heirloom cathedral veil; love it when they go on for days!
The loose, colorful, cheery florals were just what I would have paired with Emily’s laid-back and joyful nature. After the ceremony, guests headed to downtown Greenville to celebrate these two at The Old Cigar Warehouse where there was homemade ice cream…oh and of course lots of amazing dance moves!
