Lucy and Will got married this summer at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, which is also the church I grew up in, so I love getting to photograph weddings there. I loved Lucy’s lace gown and colorful bouquet and her bridesmaids’ grey dresses and gold monogrammed necklaces. Their Memphis Zoo reception felt like we were in the mountains of Colorado – a fun pretend getaway from the busy city of Memphis. Here are some of the highlights from the day!
Lucy gave will a Green Egg grill but couldn’t wrap that up for the wedding day, so wrapped up a mini green egg instead. What an awesome gift!
The reception was at the Memphis Zoo’s Teton Trek exhibit and felt a little like we were in the mountains with tall rock faces, evergreens, and waterfalls scattered throughout. I kept having to remind myself we were in the middle of the city!
